Meeting Logistics
General Information: The INTEX-A Science Team/Data Review Working Group meeting will be held 29 March - 1 April 2005 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA. The meeting will run for three full days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and will adjourn by midday on Friday. Please plan your travel so that you are able to attend the entire meeting (i.e., flights no earlier than 2p on Friday).
Registration: If you are planning to attend the meeting, please send your contact information (name, address, telephone, fax, and e-mail) to Kate Fitzgerald (kfitzgerald@infonetic.com) and Rose Kendall (RMBKendall@aol.com).
Hotel Accommodations: Please contact the hotel directly to make reservations at 1 757-473-1700 or 1-800-847-5202. When making your room reservation, please be sure to mention that you are part of the NASA INTEX Data Review Group. The block of sleeping rooms will be released on Friday, 18 March 2005. Reservations made after that date will be on a space-and-rate-availability basis. The Crowne Plaza VA Beach is offering the government per diem rate of $67.00 + tax per night. A credit card number will be required to guarantee your room. Should you need to cancel your reservation, please contact the hotel directly 24 hours before arrival to avoid the "no-show" billing of one night's room and tax.
The suggested check-in time is after 3:00 p.m. The suggested check-out time is 11:00 a.m.

Parking: Parking is complimentary at the hotel.
Shuttle Information: Orange Peel provides shuttle service between the airport
and the hotel. You may contact them directly at 757- 463-7500 or by e-mail
(transport@orangepeeltransportation.com). Their rates are estimated at $25
for 1 person, $26 for 2 people, $27 for three people, $32 for four people,
and $8 per person for 8 or more people.
