This is a Python tool that works for the ftir hdf datasets. It relies on the installation of Python, and the two Netcdf-4 tools: ncgen and ncdump. The tool is here (ftp://dirac.gsfc.nasa.gov): /archive/anon/pub/gmidata2/users/mrdamon/NDACC_Convert
 
It is a single Python file. Run the script by having Python in your path and typing: ConvertNDACC.py
