Measurements were made from the R/V Discoverer using a Fluorescence based HPLC system. The file consists of two columns, time in decimal Julian day (UTC) and SO2 concentrations in pptv. The data has be filtered for stack gas contamination using wind speed and direction and has been averaged into 30 minute bins. There are ~3 measurements per bin. Levels above 200pptv are either of volcanic (Hawaii, Julian Day 294-295) or anthropogenic (eg. Julian Day 330-330.5) origin. Format: space-delimited ASCII.
