INSTRUMENTS/SYSTEMS          STATUS       

1 Sea Surface Measurements: 
All underway logging gear working well, present temp 9.7, salinity 34.19, fluorescence 25. logging underway pCO2 nutrients and fluorescence.

2 Routine Weather Observations:
yesterdays balloons launched OK. but failed to transmit the 10:00 hrs local time due to the length of the flight.

3 Productivity measurements:  
 

4 CTD Cast Schedule:  
preparing for deep water 100m CTD at Trans-T-3
 

SPECIAL PLANNED OBSERVATIONS (NEXT 24-HOURS): 
Will start Trans T-3 at 6:30 hrs local time and then proceed to next site. 
 

PAST 24-HR OPERATIONS SUMMARY: 
finished Trans P-2 productivity station at 11:00 hours Hobart time and  then commenced steaming to 46S 148E to start of Lagrangian experiment .  Due to delay of experiment the vessel is now steaming back to recommence sampling sites and will be at Trans-T


OTHER COMMENTS: 
aqua shuttle is still being tested as it is not stable at our cruising speed of 13 knots
