Data Set Description:

GOES-7 6.7 Micron Water Vapor (WV) imagery collected during the
ACE-1 transect period via McIDAS-X then converted to GIF image format.

These data consist of full-disk, 32 km resolution images collected
every 6 hours.

Digital McIDAS Area format files (8 km resolution) were collected at
JOSS from NOAA/NSSFC from which these GIF images were created.

No additional quality control was performed on these data by JOSS.

File Name Conventions:
   MMDDHH.gif where MM is the month, DD is the day, HH is the hour.
   An example for 14 November 1995 at 0600 hours UTC is 111406.gif.
